During your stay you will find numerous possibilities of organized day trips. Not more than an hour’s drive from Murter are three national parks –
Kornati, Krka and Paklenica.
Equally spectacular is the nearby nature park Vransko Jezero.
The larger nearby town of Šibenik, which is under UNESCO protection, certainly shouldn’t be missed. You will also find the historical city of Zadar as well.
Kornati National Park are the most compact and best preserved ecological island group in the Mediterranean, which has 89 islands, and it is particularly popular among guests of the Jezera Village Holiday Resort. Murter is an ideal starting point due to its location. The excursion rides are short, which give more time for swimming and discovering most of the park in one complete day. Or you can enjoy the boat ride while visiting the nearby Krka National Park. With its seven waterfalls the Krka River is a natural phenomenon. Close to Murter you can find the largest natural lake in Croatia. Vransko Jezero is one of the few, almost untouched natural bird habitats, which is a favorite place for many cyclists. There are over 50 km of bike paths stretching around the lake. The nearest airport is Zadar Airport, 40 km from Ks Holidays.
